Mr Joseph Chavara, a renowned Adfilm director, Script writer, Politician and Social worker has started his career as a freelance journalist and coordinator of Deepika Balajanasakyam. He founded Chavara An Advertising Media at Kottayam in 1985. Over twenty five years it has grown to one among the leading advertising agencies in India with two full fledged branches at Kochi and Chennai, having an array of prospective and satisfied clientele to its credit.

Mr Joseph Chavara has directed more than 400 ad films and above 2000 radio campaigns, out of which many of them have won awards including the famous RAPA and Pepper Awards. He is also a recipient of numerous awards and recognitions for his creative and artistic excellence in advertising industry and Media. As a social worker he has been actively involved in many NGOs and religious organizations. It was his vision and commitment which led to the formation of K3A, the association of advertising agencies. As a politician, his active participation in politics began during the school days and which acted as a strong platform for his career development and leadership qualities. Presently he is holding the position as State President of Janata Dal(S).
